SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026: France Returns with a Startup Pavilion

SusHi Tech Tokyo is back for its 2026 edition, running from April 27 to 29, and France will once again have a strong presence at one of Asia’s most influential tech events.

Business France, in partnership with La French Tech Tokyo, is organizing the French Pavilion, where up to 10 startups will showcase their solutions to a diverse audience of corporations, investors, media, and ecosystem stakeholders from Japan and beyond.

What Selected Startups Get

  • Exhibition space within the France Pavilion
  • Direct exposure to potential Japanese customers and partners
  • Visibility with media and key ecosystem stakeholders
  • Pitch opportunities during the event
  • Coaching from Japan market experts on local business practices and meeting preparation

Building on Momentum

The momentum behind this year’s pavilion has been growing. In early February, a SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026 convention was held at Station F in Paris, welcoming 160 participants, more than double last year’s attendance. Governor Yuriko Koike herself was present, underscoring how far the collaboration between the Tokyo and French startup ecosystems has come.

As Keiichi Yoshimura from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government noted, the relationships patiently built over the past two and a half years are now opening the door to the next stage of Franco-Japanese innovation collaboration.

For startups considering Japan as their next market, SusHi Tech Tokyo is one of the best opportunities to connect with the local ecosystem and start building meaningful relationships.
